Jump higher than ever before with the souls of the damned.

On top of all of the default items in Minecraft, the Slippy Studios Minecraft server provides a handful of unique and fun custom items that can be used in action. While most of these items focus on PvE (against mobs), there are some cases where the custom items can be used against players too.

Each item has its own item quality assigned to it, with Regular being the most occuring one.

Item Levels

Item levels can decide the value of an item to those that it matters to, ranging from 1 to 100. Its only purpose is for players that like to collect unique level numbers, and to decide a value of the item when used in trading with other players. Since there are no leveling systems in place, levels on items are purely cosmetic.

Some items have a set item level, meaning they won't range from 1 to 100. This is prominent on items like the Strange Sharpening Kit or Erythrocyte.

Item Types

Due to the large amount and complex nature of these custom items, each item has its own item type. They categorize how an item should be seen and utilized.

Tool

The tool item type houses all items that provides guidance to the player that doesn't involve damaging mobs or other players. In the case of The Soul Jumper, a double jump is provided if used in mid-air.

Skin Kits

A Bumble Bee Skin Kit

Skin Kits are special tools that allow the player to modify the appearance of their tools. When holding a regularly obtained Pickaxe, Axe, Sword, Shovel, Hoe, Spear or Mace of any material type, type /apply mod to receive a modifiable version of the tool. After this, hold the modifiable tool in your main hand, and the Skin Kit in your off hand and then proceed to type /apply skin to apply the kit to the tool.

Skin Kits are an idea based off of Team Fortress 2's War Paint, and Counter-Strike 2's Skins system. The icon closely resembles how War Paints look in Team Fortress 2, with a cardboard cutout of the general style along with bottles containing the paint.

You can remove a Skin Kit using a Skin Kit Removal Tool and using the command /apply remover and have the original Skin Kit item that was applied to the tool be returned to you, or simply apply another Skin Kit, also resulting in the previously applied Skin Kit to be returned to you.

Strange Kits

A Strange Sharpening Kit

The Strange item quality is a special quality that keeps track of statistics on a tool. Strange items typically do not alter the weapon or tool in any other way other than adding counters. When holding a regularly obtained Pickaxe, Axe, Sword, Shovel, Hoe or Mace of any material type, type /apply mod to receive a modifiable version of the tool. After this, hold the modifiable tool in your main hand, and a Strange Sharpening Kit in your off hand and then proceed to type /apply strange to apply the Strange quality to the tool.

While the Strange Sharpening Kit typically only alters standard tools, the Strange Tuning Kit can be used to turn any valid custom item to Strange quality, such as The Soul Jumper.

It is not possible to remove the Strange quality from an item once its applied.

Melee

The melee item type houses all items that deal close ranged damage to a mob or player, usually by directly clicking on the enemy in question.

Projectile

The projectile item type houses all items that deal long range damage to a mob or player, usually with some form of projectile like an arrow, fireball or anything similar.
